SPECIAL PRAYER ALERT
Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it, And spirit to those who walk on it: "I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles, To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the prison, Those who sit in darkness from the prison house. The face to face OSL Fall meetings will be held at Prison Fellowship in Lansdowne, Virginia on October 22-23, 2007.
PRAY for wisdom for all involved and to be in unity with God's will and each other as they move forward with the restructuring of the OSL collaborative efforts and planning for future events.
FORMER OSL STAFF, HIGH POINT OFFICE, NC
Unemployed due to the closing of the OSL NC Office: Dave George, Don Grier, Kim Lightsey
PRAY for God's direction and provision as well as for doors to be opened concerning future employment.
Health concerns: Leslie Kent
PRAY for the Lord's refreshing spirit and healing hand over Leslie's body as she continues to serve Him and minister to others.
PRAISE REPORT - OSL NEW MEXICO CAMPAIGN OF EVENTS
Thank you for praying for the concerns of the September New Mexico events. The collaborators are seeing much fruit in the ministry in New Mexico prisons. Praise God for His amazing works of redemption through Operation Starting Line.
PRAY for those who came to Christ during these events that they will grow strong in their newfound faith.

Mt. 25:36 BACKGROUND AND WORKING VISION OF OSL - Operation Starting Line (OSL) is a sweeping evangelistic outreach that links the resources of leading Christian organizations with believers from local churches to saturate America's prisons with the message of Christ's forgiveness and power.
Since its launch on Easter Sunday 2000, more than 698,000 inmates at 883 correctional facilities through 3,153 events in 25 states have participated in Operation Starting Line. Over 96,000 prisoners have either made first time decisions to accept Christ, made re-commitments to Christ or signed up for Bible based correspondence studies. The Operation Starting Line collaboration has grown to thirty-three organizations working together to evangelize and disciple prisoners, correctional officers and their families.
INTERCESSORS FOR AMERICA (IFA) is one of the Operation Starting Line collaborators. IFA's President, Gary Bergel, serves as chair of the OSL Prayer Committee. Other collaborating ministries include Prison Fellowship, the Billy Graham Association and Center, Campus Crusade for Christ, Alpha USA, The Navigators, the International Bible Society, Great Dads, Crossroad Bible Institute, and many more.
